As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with controlling access to the location and verify identification as required by site-specific protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents and/or any security-related occurrences as required by the post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
