Summary: The Senior Employee Relations Consultant is responsible for mitigating organizational risk while supporting leaders in managing complex teammate matters. This role provides guidance and counsel to ensure fair, equitable, and consistent resolutions that balance business needs with a positive teammate experience. Areas of primary responsibility include investigations, corrective action review, coaching and counseling for people leaders, workplace accommodations and policy interpretations. Responsibilities: Investigation and resolution of teammate relations: Maintain a representative caseload involving variety of complex teammate relations issues, including complaints and matters leading to formal grievances. Develop appropriate teammate relations plans and interventions. Effectively investigate claims/charges, review all pertinent facts and information without expanding the scope of the investigation, and advise teammates and managers on the application of policies and procedures to support a timely and satisfactory resolution. Maintain appropriate investigative and case notes within the case management system. Utilize exceptional written communication skills to prepare appropriate documentation for each matter with discoverability in mind. Partner closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive solutions and proactive strategies for effectively handling sensitive and complex teammate relations matters and addressing organizational trends. Identify trends and root causes for recurring issues, using analytical skills and insights. Use insights to promote proactive and positive teammate relations practices across the organization to enhance the overall teammate experience, manage risk while emphasizing fairness and inclusivity. Interpret and apply a deep understanding of organizational policies, employment law, and regulations to provide advice, guidance, and clarification for teammate relations and performance inquiries. Provides guidance and support to teammates and leaders engaging in the interactive process in association with the disability, pregnancy, and religious/ethical accommodations process. Works directly with the teammate and leader to gather appropriate information to assist with exploring reasonable accommodations. Manage and foster compliant and consistent administration of ADA, PWFA and related processes. Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders and teammates on complex teammate relations matters, project, and initiatives. Partners with HR SMEs, HR Business Partners, managers and teammates to ensure timely resolution of ER cases. Partners with HR Business Partners, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and another key stakeholder as appropriate. Maintain the confidentiality of information in accordance with applicable policies, laws and regulatory requirements. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee relations plans, programs and activities. Conduct periodic reviews of HR policies and procedures and recommend updates or changes through the Policy Advisory Committee. Review and coordinate appeals and grievances services as applicable. Participate in the coordination and evaluation of HR training and development programs.

Professional Experience Requirements: * Requires four (4) years of experience in employee relations or a related field. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: * Strong customer focus and communication and interpersonal skills. * Possesses extensive knowledge of management-employee/labor relations and principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resources Management. * Demonstrated ability to develop strategic, proactive partnerships with organization leaders. * Excellent analytical, requirement gathering, problem-solving and project management skills. * Superior teamwork skills. * Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines. * Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. * Intense focus on detail and accuracy of work. Knowledgeable of state/federal statutory laws and regulatory requirements.
