Compensation: $25 an hour based on skills and experience. Position Summary: The Department of Admissions and Recruitment in Division of Strategic Enrollment Management at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science invites applications for a part-time Admissions Screener position. This position requires close cooperation with the CMS Admissions Counselor to administratively assist in the screening process of the AMCAS medical school applications. The purpose of the admissions screener is to review application files and make notes for further action by the admissions chair or admissions committee. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The admissions screener will conduct application review (90%) and assist in the processing of applications (5%). Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions and Recruitment, the admissions screener will also help with creating reports to assist the admissions process (5%). The screener will use the AMCAS applications to complete the primary screen of the applicant's graduate education, personal statement, medical related experiences, leadership/humanitarian activities, letters of recommendation and evaluate course credit and required coursework requirements on the CMS Primary Screener Evaluation form.
