Job Description

Supports government and other TRAX Ammunition Stock Control personnel with ammunition stock control for YPG in the Ammunition Management Division. Performs duties to generate, process, close, and file ammunition related documents required for mission testing programs, including documents requiring several steps each to support the accountability of assets. Requires tremendous attention to detail and accuracy. Works closely with Test Officers and other customers, and must communicate clearly in person, on the telephone, and via e-mail. Tactfully and respectfully seeks solutions to ammunition availability and accountability issues, many unknown and unforeseen. Selects the appropriate method from a variety of procedures to expedite ammunition processes, as needed. Processes multiple documents at different stages of completion, accurately and often simultaneously. Assists with maintaining 100% asset accountability by inventories generated and documented quarterly. Maintains comprehensive electronic and paper filing systems to support required regulatory accountability for inspections and audits. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Qualifications

Pay Rate:$25.10

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

*Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
*Must have at least one (1) year of experience as an Ammunition Stock Control Technician OR three (3) years of military stock control experience OR equivalent training and experience.

Job Skills Requirements:

*Must be able to competently handle standard stock control documents and situations, including resolving minor discrepancies with little or no supervision.
*Must be proficient with MS Office software and Outlook.
*Must be competent with the following specialized software: SAAS-MOD (Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization), TAMIS (Total Ammunition Management Information System), AESIP (Army Enterprise Material Master Information Page), Material Analysis Report Storage (MARS), Yuma GRID, and FED LOG (Federal Logistics Data).
*Must have excellent computer and typing skills.

Physical Requirements:

*Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
*Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
*Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
*Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the SOPs for Ammunition Logistics.
*Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
*Must be capable of frequent squatting, crouching, and stooping
*Must be tolerant of frequent weapons systems firings.

*Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
*Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
*Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.
*Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with customers, coworkers, support personnel, military, government, management personnel in a professional positive and customer focused manner.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

*Military ammunition stock control experience.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements:

*Must be a U.S. Citizen.
*Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
*Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
