About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Fireline Operator Team Lead to join our team! In this role, you will lead the assembly and shipment of all Fireline products while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and third-party audit requirements. This position plays a key role in supporting production accuracy, inventory management, team development, and audit readiness.


What You'll Do
Production & Shipping:


  • Efficiently assemble all Fireline products with a high level of quality



  • Pick and pack product accurately using the bar code system



  • Process shipments using manifest, freight, and UPS systems



  • Handle receiving and material movement



  • Maintain accurate barcoded locations and inventory counts



  • Analyze inventory levels, BOMs, and scrap quantities



  • Utilize ERP system for daily tasks and reporting




Leadership & Team Support:




  • Serve as back-up to the Supervisor as needed



  • Assist in training team members



  • Prepare the department for successful semiannual third-party audits



  • Communicate effectively with Jointmaster areas and cross-functional departments



  • Promote a professional, positive, and safety-focused work environment



  • Uphold and reinforce company policies, procedures, culture, and 6S standards




    What We're Looking For:




    • High School diploma or GED required



    • Certified to operate all lift trucks



    • Participation in at least one yearly committee



    • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety




    Authority Includes:




    • Stopping production for safety or quality concerns



    • Enforcing company policies and procedures



    • Assisting with conflict resolution



    • Communicating clear expectations to team members



    • Participating in one-on-ones and talent management assessments
