The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Non- Student Short Term Casual will support ongoing research at the Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center and the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's and the Aging Brain. Working closely with the Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator, The Non- Student Short term Casual will assist with data collection and quality control for nationally representative studies of older adults, focused on how early life education and workforce experiences influence health in later life.

Responsibilities



  • Score and double-score standardized cognitive assessments.
  • Lead or observe Zoom conferences to coordinate activities and support tester supervision.
  • Maintain, update, and revise operating manuals and study documentation.
  • Organize and file study materials; perform data cleaning, data entry, and prepare data for presentations.
  • Support oversight of test administration re-training under the supervision of the Research Coordinator.
  • Provide booster training sessions for field interviewers.
  • Certify survey contractor staff on administering cognitive tests (memory, language, attention) and survey questions on daily functioning and demographic background.
  • Participate in training and certification on standard administration and scoring procedures through observation and supervised independent scoring.
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with the Principal Investigator and study team, as well as weekly meetings with the Project Coordinator to review progress and daily activities.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience in research setting
  • Experience working with Excel and/or SPSS
