This role serves as a primary owner of the Company's tariffs and seeks new and creative opportunities to use pricing technologies to improve efficiency, increase flexibility, or drive revenue. The Senior Tariff Analyst has a strategic mindset and looks forward to driving their own career with Heart.

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary owner of the tariffs in ATPCO system
- Create and maintain fare rule filings in ATPCO
- Support Pricing Analysts with building of ATPCO footnotes and make ad-hoc fare rule changes
- Code all fare basis codes, fare rules, seasonality, and footnotes
- Track and report on major fare rule activities of competitors
- Execute regulatory filings with foreign bodies governing air service using ATPCO system
- Partner with Customer Relations Group on ownership of Contract of Carriage and rule regulation disclosures to Customers
- Interface with Sales Team on coding of corporate discounts and negotiated fares
- Work on enterprise-wide fare-related testing and generate the fare rules in test environments
- Serve as initial point of contact for fare-related trouble shooting and problem resolution
- Maintain high level of interaction with Customer Support and Services, Commercial Planning, Marketing, Finance, Technology and Customer Relations
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Knowledge of the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Skilled with standard Excel/spreadsheets and ability to learn new skills in existing tools and new tools
- Ability to collect, organize, visualize and assimilate data
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
- Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem
Education
- Required - High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Revenue Management principles and practices
- Pricing/Tariffs
- Familiarity with shopping, pricing, and ticketing functions in major GDS
- Host reservations system conversion and/or expansion into new tariffs/geographic areas
- Preferred: 'ATPCO, Amadeus, and Sabre applications
- Preferred: Fundamental query/SQL
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive market salary from $93,950.00 per year to $104,000.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
