The research nurse provides Family-Centered Care as demonstrated by recognizing the patient, family and/or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient's preferences, values, and needs. Minimizes risk of harm to patients and providers through both system effectiveness and individual performance; and uses information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making. Serves as an agent of change within the organization, as demonstrated by; involvement in unit and/or organizational activities, professional development activities, maintaining a Magnet recognized certification, active member of a professional organization and/ or active participant in community advocacy or volunteer activities. We are looking for a motivated, highly organized, team-oriented person to join our Bone Marrow Transplant(BMT) Research Team here at Children's Hospital Colorado! The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital Colorado has one of the best pediatric hematology, oncology (cancer care) and bone marrow transplant programs in the country. Additional Information: Shift: M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., dependent on patient needs. Occasional hybrid, work from home. Evidence Based Practice: Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences and values for delivery of optimal health care.
Quality Improvement: Use data to monitor the outcomes of care processes and use improvement methods to design and test changes to continuously improve the quality and safety of health care systems.

Informatics: Use information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
Leadership: Nurses support organizational goals, advance the nursing profession, and enhance professional development by extending their influence to professional and community groups.
Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). EXPERIENCE - Two (2) years of nursing experience. EQUIVALENCY - Master's Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) may substitute for a BSN. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S) - Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or RN license from multistate compact; Magnet recognized certification; BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least six (6) months left before expiration is required upon hire. Salary Information As part of our Total Rewards package, Children's Colorado offers an annual employee bonus program that rewards eligible team members based on organizational performance. If organizational goals are met for the year, the bonus is paid out the following April. Children's Colorado delivers annual base pay increases to eligible team members based on their performance over the previous year. | |
