Genesis10 is currently seeking a Platform Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Design, build, configure, and maintain core development platforms, with a primary focus on administering and optimizing Jira for project management, workflow automation, and reporting Develop, test, and maintain robust Ansible Playbooks for automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments across development, staging, and production environments Integrate and administer code quality tools, specifically SonarQube, into the CI pipeline to enforce quality standards and track technical debt across all application codebases Assist in managing and maintaining infrastructure and services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all platform configurations, automation scripts, and deployment procedures Requirements: Proven experience in the end-to-end build-out, configuration, and administration of Jira for a medium-to-large organization, including advanced workflow customization, scheme management, and integration with other tools Strong, hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying complex Ansible Playbooks for configuration management and orchestration Direct experience integrating and administering SonarQube (or similar quality scanning tools) within CI workflows Foundational knowledge and practical experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) Desired skills: CI/CD Environment Build experience Prior experience in designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment pipelines and environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Expertise with advanced features of Ansible (e.g., roles, handlers, templating) Experience with advanced reporting and custom dashboards in Jira Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
