THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Lead Solution Consultant, you will be a key driver in helping financial institutions understand how OpenText Business Network solutions can solve their most important integration, automation, and compliance challenges. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to design and present integration and visibility solutions that support payments, cash management, onboarding, real-time reporting, and global connectivity. This role is strategic and customer-facing, blending solution expertise with financial services domain knowledge. You will guide banks, insurers, and corporate treasury teams through complex financial integration needs, including corp to bank connectivity, and help them unlock the full potential of the OpenText platform.

YOU ARE GREAT AT

  • Engaging with financial services clients to understand their business processes, integration challenges, and regulatory needs
  • Translating complex FS requirements into clear solution proposals and compelling demonstrations
  • Leading technical qualification, solution design, and proposal development for FS opportunities
  • Partnering with Sales to drive opportunity assessment, deal strategy, and account planning
  • Presenting to senior FS stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and a strong command of industry needs
  • Responding to RFPs and RFIs with focused, high impact FS content
  • Supporting proof of concepts with hands on guidance, best practices, and troubleshooting
  • Working with Delivery to ensure smooth implementation transitions for FS accounts

WHAT IT TAKES

  • 5 plus years of experience in solution consulting, presales, or software delivery
  • Strong understanding of financial services integration needs including payments, cash management, onboarding, compliance, and global messaging
  • Deep knowledge of B2B, API based integration, and enterprise application integration
  • Familiarity with SaaS, EDI, REST, JSON, SWIFT, ISO20022, SAML, SOA, AWS, and GCP
  • Exposure to platforms such as Gentran, Axway, Sterling, Volante, FIS, Finastra, Bottomline, MuleSoft, and GXS
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for business leaders and FS executives
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Comfort working independently and in fast paced team environments
  • Willingness to travel to support customer engagements
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Bachelor's degree required; industry certifications or FS training preferred

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $151,800 - $227,600 + variable; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
