This position is a key member of our Sustainment Program team, reporting to theArea Manager for the Spares program.This is a fast paced, dynamic and demanding program that requires excellent communication, organization, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role
  • Assist the Area Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating program activities to ensure that goals,objectives, and program deliverablesare accomplishedfor each projectwithinscope, cost, and schedule.
  • Foster and develop an outstanding relationship with internal team members and stake holders to deliver best in class solutions
  • Support program control in planning, budgeting, and execution of programand projects
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Control program risk management, identifying risk candidates, monitoring obsolescenceandimplementingrisk mitigation plansas necessary.
  • Build and lead diverse teams across enterprise process centers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, includingcustomers andcontractors,to ensure program requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Assist in the preparation ofprojectproposals, including cost estimates, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the Area Manager in conducting program reviews and audits and in preparing and presenting program status reports to senior managementand customers.

Qualifications Sought
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business, management, operations or supply chain.Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.
  • 10 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Department of Defense or similar industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Customer interface experience with USG and/or external suppliersdesired
  • Proposal developmentexperience preferred (lead or support)
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to assess business or technical risk and develop corrective actions and mitigation plans.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have experience with using Contract Logistics Management (CLM) Database, Oracle, and Teamcenter.
  • Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent business acumen and negotiating skills are preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
