The Rad Info Support Specialist oversees and troubleshoots Powerscribe, McKesson and RadNet workflow issues impacting Radiologists' and Technologists' efficiency. This position resolves complex data compatibility issues between integrated systems.

The Rad Info Support Specialist finds and corrects errors in Powerscribe, RadNet and McKesson to ensure timely interpretation and distribution of reports. The role monitors system worklists for potential errors, delays, etc. The Rad Info Support Specialist works closely with residents and attending physicians to expedite image interpretations and serves as a liaison between physicians to resolve unread study issues. Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in supporting image management, digital dictation and/or PACS workflows and a High School Diploma or equivalent; or
Minimum of four years of work experience in supporting image management, digital dictation and/or PACS workflows and an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology, Information Technology, Health Information Management or closely related field from an accredited program
Experience PREFERRED:
Ten (10) years experience with Powerscribe Digital Dictation Systems and McKesson PACS
Five (5) years of supervisory experience
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus years of required work experience listed above; or
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology, Information Technology, Health Information Managment or closely related field from an accredited program plus required work experience listed above
Education/training PREFERRED:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Health Information Management or closely related field
