Job Description

Title: Superintendent Level 4

Department: New York Operations

Reports To: Superintendent, Senior Superintendent and/or Project Manager by project

Knowledge



  • Knowledgeable in multiple trades
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA, NYCDOB, FDNY regulations
  • Thorough understanding of daily huddles, pre-task plans and local law 196



Skills



  • Responsible for managing select specialty partners or tasks on a project
  • Responsibility of running the foreman meetings
  • Able to assist with jobsite layout
  • Understand and enforce Site Safety Plan
  • Able to train others on how to perform quality DBO2's
  • Responsible for coordination of trades, inspectors, vendors etc. to maintain an efficient jobsite
  • Develop task specific logistic plans and coordinate the work with other members of the team
  • Responsible for QA/QC which includes accurate reporting for their assigned tasks
  • Assist lead superintendent in setting up the project
  • Assist in writing Exhibit A's
  • General Exhibit A review for schedule and logistics
  • Continuous review of the ROJ log to confirm dates are acceptable to maintain their schedule
  • Create and review RFI's
  • Full understanding of project specs
  • Completion of daily, high risk and monthly reports on time and accurate
  • Develop, update and maintain breakout schedules
  • Review change order scope and schedule impacts
  • Understanding process and controls of ticket work, review SOV and mark up requisitions
  • Manage TCO process and assist in punch list process



Ability



  • Ability to supervise at least one direct report or laborer
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to communicate and interact with internal project team and external specialty partners
  • Exhibits leadership skills



Minimum Requirements

Previous experience of managing at least 2 direct reports

5-7 years of construction experience

1-2 Years of experience with healthcare construction

NYCDOB Registration required

NYC DOB SST Card required

Salary Range - 110,000 - 150,000

The above salary range represents Hunter Roberts's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Hunter Roberts provides to employees.
