The Partner team at Appian is a fast-paced, dynamic organization that plays an integral role in driving Appian's growth globally. We are looking for an experienced Partner Sales Director to promote work within Appian's internal sales team and forge relationships with our Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) to achieve aggressive growth and revenue goals. This individual will make a noticeable impact on Appian by managing a high profile relationship and helping to build solutions and go to market motions that improve their ability to serve their customers. In this Player / Manager role, you will both directly manage a key partnership and lead a team of individuals taking on similar responsibilities. In this role, you will: Lead and manage a team of Partner Sales Managers focused on the same Strategic GSI relationship. Drive business development opportunities to create sourced opportunities Oversee the creation and maintenance of Appian delivery practices within Strategic partners Connect Appian sales teams with partner account teams to jointly develop customer opportunities Oversee the creation, development, and go to market for partner solutions, managed services, and BPO opportunities. Educate the Partner organizations on the benefit of Appian's software Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business 20+ years of relevant enterprise software experience, including significant experience in a partner/channel sales leadership role or a services firm. Specific, demonstrable experience successfully managing and growing a business at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC). Demonstrated success in working with service providers in business development and the construction of services & practices around specific software products Working knowledge of business process automation with a history of qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi departmental solution sales Working knowledge of solution selling methodology and practice Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills Confident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious attitude Able to work independently, but within a team environment Ability to travel Tools and Resources
