To assist graduate student research that requires freshwater turtle surveys in NC and SC. Essential job responsibilities include freshwater turtle trapping; identifying, measuring and marking the turtles; and environmental data collection.

Willingness to work in challenging outdoor conditions, travel and operate a field vehicle.

Bachelor's degree in wildlife ecology (or similar); experience in wildlife field surveys.

Ability to carry 40lbs through rugged terrain.

1 year of field work experience with reptiles.

Valid Driver's license.
