The NAPD Pricing - Biopharma Pricing and Insights team connects economics, channel, and strategic insights across the spectrum of biopharma manufacturers and customers.

The Specialty Pricing and Insights Manager plays a critical role in supporting pricing strategy execution for specialty biopharma within Brand Sourcing and Manufacturer Relations. This high visibility position focuses on mid-market accounts, delivering precise deal modeling and pricing for renewals and new product launches within a defined portfolio. The Manager plays a key role that requires working closely with Account Directors, Market Intelligence, Pricing, FP&A, and Sourcing Operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial and analytical acumen, business judgment, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, including challenging industry norms through bold, forward-thinking insights.

Day-to-day activities include deal modeling, guardrail evaluations, insights into product-level performance, forecasting economics, impact/sensitivity analyses, and scenario planning. The Manager will also incorporate competitive benchmarks, market share trends and product utilization to inform pricing strategy as well as prepare senior-level presentations and strategic briefs for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Framing recommendations using qualitative and quantitative data, presenting to senior leaders, engaging in discussions, writing executive summaries, and building slides in PowerPoint.

  • Financial modeling based on current market conditions, channel optimization, biopharma manufacturer pipeline, and connecting buy and sell. This includes pressure testing multiple scenarios and tracking iterations of models.

  • Condensing the output of models into clear recommendations for account directors and executives - both written and oral.

  • Collaborate across teams to identify new business opportunities based on product market dynamics, channel, and customer segment to capture new profits.

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with several key teams, including Strategic Sourcing, Pricing, FP&A, Sourcing Operations, and Manufacturer Engagement.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

  • 4-year degree

  • MBA preferred but not required

Critical Skills

To be successful in this role, a candidate should have demonstrated:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a related field (specialty or plasma manufacturer pricing, business development, finance)

  • Solid presentation skills, oral and written communications with ability to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals.

  • Collaborator with confidence to engage in healthy debate, decide, and commit strategies supported by facts and logic.

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver

  • Strong analytical skills with experience creating and manipulating financial models using large datasets

  • Experience in interpreting contract language and financial terms is a plus.

Salary: 89,000.00 - 118,700.00 - 148,400.00 USD Annual with 5% MIP
