Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Clifton, NJ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of company products in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs analysis on reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems, field, and clinical data.
  • Further investigate the cause for discrepancies and nonconformities to develop a disposition and recommend corrective action plans.
  • Assist with the material review board and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing and engineering to ensure requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to resolve defects and support the production floor.
  • Responsible for defect trend analysis reporting at the corrective action board (CAB).
  • Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 / hour.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp to Perm (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering or Materials Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, inspection, or a technical field.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience in the electronic industry.
  • Knowledge or certification in IPC-A-610.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-620.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written language.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO9001/AS9100.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or PLM tool.
  • Teamwork.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good reprioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Disciplines: Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Electrical, ASQ certification.
