As the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for our Reading Site project, you will lead the creation and implementation of a safe, compliant, and sustainable construction environment. You'll be an important partner in shaping our EHS culture, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to all internal policies and external regulations. Your Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

You'll Report to: Project Director



You will:


  • Direct and support all Environmental, Health, and Safety functions for the Reading Site project.



  • Implement and administer Contractor Safety Management Plan for the project.



  • Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS laws, regulations, and company standards.



  • Lead site EHS training for employees and contractors, promoting proactive safety engagement.



  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations to find and address risks.



  • Act as point of contact for Ohio EPA during site construction.



  • Manage emergency preparedness, environmental programs, and waste management programs.



  • Be the primary contact for regulatory agencies and maintain partner relationships.



  • Track and report EHS KPIs, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement actions.



  • Develop Safety Programs for new site operations, which are scheduled to begin in Q2 2027.




Your Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or a related field.



  • 7-10 years of experience in EHS management within construction or industrial environments.



  • Relevant EHS certifications and qualifications.



  • 5+ years of experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.



  • Experience with construction safety management, process safety, auditing, and emergency response.



  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.




Compensation and Benefits:

The established salary range for this position is $143,000-$163,000k annually. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications. Medical, dental, and vision coverage and a high-matching 401(k) retirement plan.
