A&P Licensed Maintenance Coordinator

STS Technical Services
United States, Florida, Fort Pierce
Dec 02, 2025

STS Technical Services is hiring an A&P Licensed Maintenance Coordinator in Ft. Pierce Florida. This role is built for experienced A&P professionals who want to step beyond the wrench and support a growing Twin Otter restoration program from the inside out. You will work closely with technicians, leadership, and external partners to keep documentation accurate, maintenance work aligned, and major rebuild projects on track.

If you want to stay close to day to day operations while growing into responsibilities normally handled by a Director of Maintenance, this is the opportunity.

A rapidly growing aviation operation based at St. Lucie County International Airport is seeking an A&P Licensed Maintenance Coordinator to support its expanding Twin Otter restoration program. The company specializes in complete tear downs, frame up restorations, and total rebuilds of Twin Otter aircraft. The team is small, tight knit, and anchored in professionalism, collaboration, and long term growth. This is not a contractor minded environment. They want someone who will become part of the team and grow with the operation.

All openings begin as open ended contract roles with strong potential for direct hire.

  • Managing aircraft paperwork, logs, records, and documentation
  • Organizing and processing task cards
  • Coordinating maintenance activity between technicians, leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with planning, tracking, and scheduling maintenance work

  • Ensuring documentation accuracy during major inspections, tear downs, and rebuild programs

Required Experience

  • Valid A&P License
  • Minimum 5 years of A&P experience
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation heavy workloads
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, managers, and vendors
  • Detail oriented and capable of maintaining high accuracy in paperwork and task tracking
  • Interest in long term employment within a growing and specialized operation

What Makes This Opportunity Unique

  • Join a small but expanding team performing highly specialized Twin Otter restoration and rebuild work
  • Work directly in a dynamic environment where your contributions have a clear impact
  • Collaborate closely with a team that values professionalism, teamwork, and long term development
  • Significant growth potential as the program expands

Housing Assistance

The company owns several townhomes in a nearby gated community. Housing support is available on a case by case basis for non local candidates or those needing assistance relocating. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
