ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will perform in the role of receptionist, which includes providing administrative and operational support for our Chicago office.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Greet and assist visitors, staff, and vendors with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming front-of-house experience.
  • Serve as the first point of contact by sitting at the front desk or reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming presence for all who enter the office.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members or departments.
  • Schedule appointments and manage conference room bookings; ensure meeting spaces are tidy, organized, and ready for use.
  • Respond promptly and helpfully to internal and external requests, adapting to changing needs throughout the day.
  • Support the broader administrative team with tasks and coordination as needed.
  • Proactively identify and communicate minor issues or inefficiencies to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain the reception area and shared office spaces, keeping them tidy, stocked, and presentable at all times.
  • Monitor and replenish office and kitchen supplies to support daily operations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, and courier services.
  • Provide basic administrative support such as data entry, filing, and assisting with internal communications.
  • Support local onboarding efforts by welcoming new staff and assisting with hospitality-related tasks.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other common software tools to complete routine tasks and support office needs.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the office.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Experience working in a professional services firm preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy with work is a must.
  • Ability to work in highly collaborative and deadline driven environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to dive into projects and tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.


The salary range for this position is $17.31 to $21.63 hourly. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
