Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator - Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity to join our Human Resources team. This role supports firmwide entry-level recruiting including law clerks, summer associates, and entry-level attorneys, while also serving as a key operator behind the scenes for data, reporting, systems, and vendor coordination.

Reporting to the Managers of Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity, this position is ideal for someone with excellent client service and communication skills, who also loves logistics, thrives in fast-paced recruiting cycles, and enjoys building polished systems, spreadsheets, dashboards, and processes that keep our programs running smoothly.

This is a hybrid position working three days from home and two days onsite per week, with additional onsite presence as needed during high-volume summer and fall recruiting cycles.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Entry-Level Recruiting

  • Maintain and update job postings for law clerk and summer associate positions; ensure firm website content is accurate and current.
  • Coordinate law school recruiting engagement, job fairs, events, and pipeline initiatives; travel as needed for on-campus recruiting.
  • Manage application intake, filing, review, dissemination, and tracking.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, materials, logistics, and candidate communications.
  • Draft offer letters and decline notices; field candidate questions and manage regular touchpoints throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Coordinate all diligence processes for incoming summer associates and entry-level attorneys.
  • Support the Recruiting & Hiring Committee by scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and tracking follow-up items.

Entry-Level Attorney Onboarding

  • Coordinate pre-onboarding diligence for new entry-level associates.
  • Manage onboarding logistics, including technology needs, workspaces, welcome materials, form distribution, travel reimbursements, and orientation support.
  • Track expenses, process invoices, and maintain accurate budget and onboarding records.

Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity Operations

  • Build, maintain, and organize spreadsheets, files, dashboards, and tracking tools.
  • Produce accurate reporting and data analysis to support decision-making and survey responses.
  • Draft and update polished PowerPoint materials, presentations, and internal reports.
  • Maintain data integrity across viRecruit, Workday, and other recruiting systems; document system changes and assist with training.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce duplication, and elevate the candidate experience.
  • Provide broad administrative and project support across the Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity function.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in a coordinator, operations, administrative, or recruiting role - professional services or law firm preferred.
  • Polished, professional communication style with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently with candidates, law school partners, internal stakeholders, and firm leadership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and thrive in fast-paced, high-volume recruiting seasons.
  • Experience coordinating events, schedules, or logistics.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to anticipate needs.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting) and Smartsheet (reports, dashboards, workflows).
  • Experience building or maintaining tracking tools, dashboards, or reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with viRecruit, Workday, or other ATS/HRIS systems preferred.
  • Ability to translate raw data into understandable and visually compelling presentations.
  • Comfort learning new systems and troubleshooting system/process issues.

The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $65,000 - $75,000/year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
