The University of Arizona's Information Technology Services (UITS) invites you to apply for the role of Associate Salesforce Administrator, who will support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the University's Salesforce platform within a dynamic higher education environment. This position will support the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). This position plays a key role in ensuring that Salesforce effectively supports institutional operations across Enrollment Management, Student Services, and other student-facing departments. Working under the guidance of the Senior Salesforce Administrator and Director of CRM & Digital Experience, this role provides hands-on technical support, assists in system configuration, and helps optimize user experience and data integrity. This position will contribute to projects that advance the University's digital transformation initiatives-such as enhancing the Education Cloud implementation, integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems (e.g., CampusVue SIS, Workato middleware, Canvas LMS), improving data quality, and supporting automation to streamline student and staff workflows. The role offers opportunities to participate in CRM features rollouts, release testing, and data migration efforts while building foundational Salesforce expertise. The CRM & Digital Experience team fosters a collaborative, value-driven and growth-oriented culture. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Provide end-user support by responding to service desk tickets, general questions, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with Salesforce best practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce system requirements.
- Maintain and update user accounts, roles, permission sets, and security settings.
- Assist with data imports, exports, and cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Build and maintain standard reports and dashboards to support business units such as Admissions, Student Services, and Marketing.
- Configure standard Salesforce features (custom fields, page layouts, record types, flows) under direction of senior team members.
- Monitor system performance and escalate technical issues to senior administrators or Salesforce support when needed.
- Conduct routine data quality audits and assist with implementing data cleansing procedures.
- Provide end-user training and create documentation, FAQs, and quick-reference materials.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure Salesforce supports business processes effectively.
- Support system upgrades, sandbox refreshes, and regression testing activities.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices, assessing their applicability to the organization.
- Ensure compliance with student privacy and data protection standards (e.g., FERPA).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Familiar with Education Data Architecture (EDA) or similar CRM data models.
- Familiar with Salesforce core concepts such as users, roles, profiles, permissions, and reporting.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce automation tools such as Flows, validation rules, or process builder.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities for end-user issues.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Interest in higher education operations and digital transformation.
- Self-starter with eagerness to learn and grow in Salesforce administration.
- Desire to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation for students, staff and faculty.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
- 1 year of relevant work experience required.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) or actively working toward certification.
- Experience with CampusVue (SIS), Workato (middleware/integration), or Canvas (LMS).
- Experience with Flow Builder or other Salesforce automation tools.
- 2 years of experience in Salesforce administration, CRM support, or related user-support roles.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
