UC San Diego Health's Strategy Office is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to lead our data analytics function that supports system-level strategy development. In this role, you'll own the design and execution of advanced analytics that leverage health care claims, demographic data, utilization trends, and internal operational data to analyze market dynamics, forecast demand, and uncover strategic opportunities. This position offers a unique opportunity to help guide the direction of San Diego's leading health system, by providing the strategic support to influence senior leadership in data-driven business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Epic/Clarity and SQL, and will possess problem-solving skills that enable creative solutions in data cleansing, validation, and analysis. They will have strong technical aptitude with a strategic mindset, facilitating the translation of complex data into insights and narratives that guide strategic planning and enterprise-wide initiatives. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $97,200 - $182,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $46.55 - $87.16 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
