Description and Requirements

The Lenovo IT team is looking for a talented Technical Product analyst to work closely with Agile/Scrum development teams in support as a Service IT product line. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with IT system development or engineering experience in addition to product analyst experience.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical background but also a desire to provide clear directions, descriptions, and functional requirements for product features to facilitate easy comprehension by the development team. You will own the day-to-day details of the product backlog including prioritizing user stories, tasks, and defects. You will work closely with a cross-functional team (including Business team, Digital transformation team, and IT product team) to coordinate product release efforts and announcements.


Required qualifications:

  • Work closely with product managers, development teams, and senior leadership to create and maintain a product backlog according to business values, objectives, and feature ROI.
  • Plan and prioritize backlogs, assist with product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and driving innovation initiatives.
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters to coordinate and lead product teams through ongoing Agile/Scrum activities and Sprint ceremonies.
  • Actively participate as an integral team member and influencer in Sprint ceremonies.
  • Document product requirements, user stories, defects and other artifacts as needed in support of Agile product delivery by providing detailed acceptance criteria, descriptions, and definitions and answering questions when additional clarification is needed.
  • Ensure that the product team has adequate tasks groomed and ready to pull into development.
  • Verify completion of new features and their readiness to release.
  • Use various customer feedback channels to continually drive customer driven enhancements into products.

Preferred, Not Required

  • 5+ years Leasing management system business analysis working experience.
  • 5+ years Leasing Industry work experience.
  • Solid practical experience on leasing business especially on equipment leasing, including different classification (finance lease and operating lease), lease contract lifecycle management (from initiation to settlement), leased asset management (from asset acquisition to RV investment), lease risk management, etc
  • Solid practical usage experience on at least one lease management system
  • Strong business flow analysis, design and optimization skills
  • Familiar with accounting standards on leasing part, e.g. IFRS 16, FRS 116, etc.
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including AR, AP, fixed assets, foreign currencies, taxation, etc.
  • Fluently English, work together with worldwide team.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $100k - 145K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
