Pricing Coordinator

The Pricing Coordinator generates pricing for finished goods, ensuring that the necessary data to establish and communicate pricing to customers is accurate. Review for accuracy, research issues, and initiate contact with internal and external customers to solve discrepancies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Calculate, prepare, and distribute price lists for assigned customers
  • Ensure that pricing for all products are correct and accurately reflected on the pricing lists
  • Regularly review prices to ensure accuracy, initiate price changes, and ensure that all items are accurately marked and signs for products are updated promptly
  • Calculate, prepare, and distribute customer rebates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company objectives
  • Prepare and distribute customer promotions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company objectives
  • Ensure pricing models are updated
  • Work directly with the customer to resolve questions or concerns related to pricing and the order-to-cash process, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided
  • Work with sales and finance to assist with basic analytical reporting that may include volume, pricing, ad planning and effectiveness, and other sales ad hoc analysis reports. Collect and analyze insights from customers on pricing
  • Apply awareness and understanding of product costing principles to build an understanding of price changes
  • Help communicate and maintain process controls across all departments, such as ensuring authoritative signatures are captured when needed, rebates are reviewed according to the audit schedule, sales ad plans are in accordance with management objectives, and customer agreements are maintained

Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of pricing, customer service, accounting, business administration, or related experience
  • Knowledge of the dairy industry preferred
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company specific systems, including customer web-based systems such as pricing and item information or promotion planning and scheduling
  • Knowledge of company product lines and order-to-cash process flow
  • Knowledge and application of basic financial metrics and analytic process
  • Basic knowledge of dairy industry regulations and dairy costing
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
