Job DescriptionResponsible for maintaining departmental equipment within the Poles operation necessary for maintaining a 98% mechanical uptime level. Services, repairs, fabricates, works with Poles Inventory Control Specialist to source necessary parts or identify replacement parts to be added to inventory and works with Engineering to support project needs on the Poles campus. Responsible for scheduling personnel performing mechanical and electrical repairs to equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned. This position is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises electrical and mechanical technicians. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, practices and procedures. Responsibilities include assigning work force while directing workforce; interviewing, rewarding and disciplining employees; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QualificationsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 2 years' manufacturing experience required; OR equivalent combination of education in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology and/or industrial manufacturing experience.
