MBP is looking for a Project Manager to oversee various construction projects and guarantee successful results. We want a leader with demonstrated industry experience and a history of career growth.



Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Lead the overall delivery of assigned construction projects as an MBP Representative, serving as the primary client contact and decision-maker. Guide multidisciplinary teams, establish program objectives, and align project goals with client expectations. Oversee budgeting strategies and process improvements while providing strategic input that enhances project success. Responsibilities include:

    Coordinate the efforts of designers, contractors, and owner personnel throughout all project phases
  • Attend client meetings on behalf of MBP to present updates and recommendations
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage client and internal project budgets
  • Analyze and optimize internal and external project processes for efficiency
  • Support business development initiatives and participate in company activities
  • Oversee personnel management and maintain required certifications and recertifications

Who We Are Looking For:

Experience:

  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and resolving construction project complexities.
  • Proven success in defining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for various construction-related activities.
  • Evidence of progressive career advancement within the construction industry.


Qualifications

Education/Knowledge:

  • B.S. in an industry-related field preferred
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Specialized technical knowledge in construction, construction management, and project controls
  • Scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, and contract administration
  • Construction techniques and principles
  • Personnel and project management skills, including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Leading and training team members
  • Communicating directly with clients and providing client care
  • Possessing subject matter expertise with responsibility for the final work product in one or more service areas
  • Managing multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Identifying problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions from complex information
  • Analyzing and improving internal and external processes
  • Standing and sitting on project sites, climbing ladders, working at heights, and performing outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions
  • Safely navigating construction sites with uneven terrain

Guidance/Responsibility:

  • Work independently to find solutions while receiving general guidance on emphasis and approach
  • Offer strategic input on budgeting, scheduling, and process improvement to support client goals

Supervisory:

  • Report to a Service Line Manager or Group Manager
  • Provide leadership and oversight to assigned project teams
  • Conduct analytical and management tasks independently
