Research Administration Manager I
Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. The Research Administration Manager independently manages staff and daily operations related to research administration and general administrative support for a work unit. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. A cover letter will be required for this position. Responsibilities SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently in developing operational goals, determining courses of action to accomplish goals and in managing staff. Collaborates with PIs and interfaces with other departments as needed on administrative and strategic planning. Advises PIs on relevant matters, develops effectives solutions to administrative issues and provides input to broader division planning as needed. JOB DUTIES
Develop short and long term goals, procures necessary resources and determines courses of action to accomplish goals for the research administration function

A cover letter must be submitted to be considered for this position. The annual base salary range for this position is from $99,486 to $157,227, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. This position may be eligible for sign on bonus.
