Great Hill Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Modeling and Simulation Policy Analystto provide and support our government customer with on-site senior modeling and simulation policy support. This position will be on-site in Patuxent River, Maryland. This position will entail supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NavAir), in particular, the Digital Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, draft, update, and maintain DON and Navy M&S plans that articulate the M&S vision, goals, objectives, and implementation metrics
- Draft technical planning documents such as DON and Navy M&S requirements descriptions, strategic plans and visions, roadmaps, business plans, implementation approaches, guidebooks, and codes of best practice
- Provide expertise on and review M&S planning products generated by the DoW and other services, including Directives, Instructions, business plans, technical reports, codes of best practice, and terms of reference
- Support the development, drafting, coordination, approval, distribution, and monitoring of M&S policies that provide specific guidance, structure, responsibility assignment, process descriptions, and authority
- Assist in the drafting of SECNAV, OPNAV, and Systems Command directives, instructions, and other issuances on topics such as M&S organization, management, VV&A, standards, federation, execution processes, and implementation approaches
- Provide inputs on SECNAV policy initiatives related to M&S, and Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) simulations
- Support the development, use, and updates to the DON's M&S Support Plan (MSSP) Guidebook, the DON M&S Procurement Guidebook, and the VV&A Implementation Handbook
- Review existing DoW and DON policies that reference EE and/or M&S for completeness and comprehensiveness
- Work closely with the NMSO Program Manager and Senior Program Analyst
Requirements and Qualifications
- Masters Degree in related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
