The Citizens� Utility Ratepayer Board (CURB), a state consumer advocate agency representing the interests of residential and small commercial customers in telephone, gas and electric matters before Kansas state and federal regulators, seeks a motivated individual to fill an economist position within the agency. The ideal candidate will have knowledge or a willingness to learn about issues related to regulation of electric and gas industries; be able to review and produce written testimony; focus on rate design, tariff and regulatory review, program evaluation, benefit cost analysis, weather normalization, and load forecasting. Experience working with utility-related issues and entities or state regulatory agencies preferred.
