Our goal is to collaboratively provide the best patient focused care to our families. In this role, you'll work closely with physicians in providing patient care, communication and education. You'll also have the opportunity to follow the family through the entire birth process through labor, delivery and during postpartum until the patient is discharged. The RN will also:
Provide care and education for the OB patient and newborn, demonstrates good assessment skills and utilizes critical thinking.
Focus on best practice.
Demonstrate complete and thorough documentation.
Work closely with the physicians in providing patient care.
Demonstrate good communication skills in communicating with physicians, co-workers and patients.
Help in maintaining the department and assisting with tasks related to the unit.
Work Schedule:
0.65 FTE
Twelve hour shifts
Evenings/Nights
Weekend and Holiday rotation
Required Qualifications:
Current Wisconsin RN license.
Current CPR certification.
STABLE certification within 6 months of hire.
NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
ACLS certification within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of one year OB experience strongly preferred.
Experience in EPIC computer system
