POSITION SUMMARYThe Wellness Program Manager develops, leads and communicates holistic wellness strategies encompassing physical, social, emotional, financial, and work well-being. This individual champions a culture of wellness that supports team member engagement, resilience, and overall quality of life, in alignment with the overall Health and Wellness vision and company values.
This position is located in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integrates wellness principles into company policies, practices, and communications.
- Utilizes data analytics and team member feedback to measure program impact and inform continuous improvement.
- Ensures wellness programs are inclusive and accessible to all team members.
- Promotes financial wellness, work-life balance, and preventive health initiatives.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and evidence-based wellness practices.
- Partners with HR, Total Reward, and leadership teams to integrate wellness into broader team member experience strategies.
- Effectively communicates wellness strategies and initiatives through compelling written materials, engaging presentations, and clear verbal messaging to inspire participation and drive program success across diverse employee populations.
- Educate and coach team members on wellness topics including nutrition, stress management, and physical activity.
- Empowers team members to take charge of their well-being through supportive, engaging, and innovative wellness initiatives.
- Supporting and building a culture of physical well-being in our new corporate office by leveraging creative programming and local partnerships to encourage health behaviors.
- Manages vendor relationships by evaluating program effectiveness through clear goals and KPI's to ensure they exceed ROI and meet performance guarantees.
- Promote holistic employee well-being through awareness campaigns that encourage preventive care visits, emotional health support, work-life balance, personal health assessments, and participation in wellness expos.
- Ensure programs comply with federal wellness regulations (eg ADA, GINA, HIPAA)
- Serve as a wellness ambassador inspiring participation through storytelling, campaigns, and events.
- Assists VP of Total Rewards in preparing and adhering to annual budget recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in health education, HR or health/wellness related field Minimum of five (5) years' experience in leading a comprehensive wellness program in a corporate setting with emphasis in program development (mental health and fitness), program evaluation, motivational techniques, public speaking, event coordination, and risk management Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, ChatGPT, etc.) Periodic travel required - Approximately 10%
Preferred:
Preferred: Certification in wellness or health promotion (e.g., CWP, CCWS). Experience with data analytics, DEI initiatives, and change management in a corporate setting. Additional certifications in CPR/AED, QPR training, and DPP lifestyle coach training are a plus
