Job Description




As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrols in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for clients and employees. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, documenting and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal staff to support a secure environment within the financial institution.
  • Complete required reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by site management.
  • Assist with emergency response activities such as evacuations or medical situations, providing guidance and support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
