Security Officer - Access Control Monitor

As a Security Officer - Access Control Monitor in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a highly visible presence. You will engage with employees and visitors, responding to inquiries and assisting with access needs, while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and/or identification of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activity.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for security-related issues, hazards, or unusual activity.
• Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or security-related concerns in accordance with company and client requirements.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, supporting the site's protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
