Description 1. Basic Hand Tool Proficiency Must bring and know how to use: Screwdrivers Pliers Punch-down tools Toner and phone Larger tools like hammer drills and saws are provided onsite, but familiarity is helpful. 2. Telecom Closet Buildouts Experience with: Setting up racks and cabinets Populating racks with patch panels, cable management, and network gear Labeling and organizing cables per site standards 3. Self-Sufficiency & Readiness Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision No time for on-the-job training - candidates must be fully capable from day one Ability to follow direction and complete tasks independently Skills fiber splicing, fiber testing, copper cabling, secret clearance, cat6, cat5, hand tool Top Skills Details fiber splicing,fiber testing,copper cabling,secret clearance Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience (YOE) in low-voltage cabling Certifications preferred (e.g., BICSI, fiber certifications) Must have own tools (screwdrivers, pliers, punch-down tools, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Per diem available for travel over 70 miles Team size: ~20 people onsite 3 open slots Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
