Security Officer - Transportation Patrol

As a Security Officer - Transportation Patrol in Dillon, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-related location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and providing excellent customer service through clear and professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or behaviors.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate logs and write detailed incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency response situations, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
