As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting the security-related needs of a financial institution location. You will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter unauthorized activity, all while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
• Assist with security-related procedures for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and maintain accurate records of all individuals entering or leaving the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors regarding access control protocols and provide information as needed.
• Report security-related incidents, irregularities, and suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification and/or first aid training is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
