As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Locust Grove, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential communities to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. In this driving and armed post, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to residents and guests, and provide responsive support with outstanding customer service. You will play a crucial role in upholding the values of Allied Universal by fostering teamwork, acting with integrity, and helping to create a secure environment through reliable and agile service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain order.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals in the area and promptly report findings according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports to support ongoing security-related operations at the location.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, providing detailed information as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or armed guard license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
