As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail and mall environment. Your visible presence will contribute to a secure atmosphere for visitors and staff, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the location.
• Communicate observed concerns or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist customers, visitors, and tenants by providing information and directions within the retail or mall location.
• Support access control procedures and enforce site-specific policies as directed by the client or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
