As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing the well-being of individuals at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings within the retail environment, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
• Interact professionally with customers, employees, and visitors, providing assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal's standards and expectations.
• Follow all protocols for handling security-related situations involving firearms, as outlined in training and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
