Position: Customer Service Representative * Pay Rate:* $20/hour * Location:* Onsite at 11800 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513, United States * Target Start Date:* December 2, 2025 Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of non-clinical inquiries. Your role supports the broader pharmacy workflow by managing calls, updating records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the primary resource for inbound calls related to general prescription status, financial inquiries, and other non-clinical matters. * Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries and payments, ensuring accurate profile updates for timely distribution. * Respond directly to customer inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction. * Document concise progress notes to support workflow transparency and facilitate quick referral assessments by other team members. * Utilize the management information system to: * Answer questions about refill needs * Provide status updates on pending or shipped prescriptions * Verify insurance details * Provide invoice copies upon request * Address patient questions during refill scheduling and escalate to pharmacists or nurses when clinical input is needed. * Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians to uphold patient safety standards. * Perform additional duties as assigned, which may vary slightly depending on team or program requirements. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $20.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
