Cloud Security Architect, Lead

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.

What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve the homeland security mission? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of homeland security's toughest problems.

As a leader on our team, you'llbe leading the design and implementation of a secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment tailored for federal government operations. This includes developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Continuous security assessments and audits will be performed to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the security posture remains robust. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to integrate security solutions that align with both business objectives and regulatory requirements.

You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll use your experience to guide your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including cloud security

  • 5+ years of experience supporting the development of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection strategies, policies, and capabilities

  • Experience architecting and securing applications on Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience conducting cybersecurity risk assessments across multiple industries and sectors

  • Experience in the standup of vulnerability management capabilities across a large portfolio of enterprise applications, integrating scanning and analysis tools and processes in agile development environments

  • Experience with compliance and accreditation activities in support of large-scale federal data center migration to cloud service providers

  • Knowledge of federal security regulations, frameworks, and standards such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with data encryption, privacy regulations, and protection mechanisms specific to federal environments

  • Experience with integrating security practices within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies

  • Experience with incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management in cloud environments

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP Certification

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
