Back Senior Mortgage Processor #25-1157 Wayne, New Jersey, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Expected Work Hours 40 Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processes a pipeline of complex FHA, VA, Non-Conforming, and Conforming mortgage transactions. Ensures regulatory compliance with disclosure and verification requirements. Ensures all documents are prepared and finalized in compliance with policies and procedures. Reviews and verifies application information to prepare the application file for underwriting. Provides excellent customer service to mortgage applicants, both verbal and written. Provides feedback to management on loan activities based on loan level reporting. Requirements Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Knowledge of Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector or similar software is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have the ability to prioritize and organize competing assignments. Must be detail oriented. Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of experience managing and processing a diverse pipeline of complex mortgage transactions required. College degree preferred.
