As a Security Professional - Distribution Entry Control in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will support security-related operations at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. Through strong communication and exceptional customer service, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and/or exit, in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches of protocols.
• Report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols or while monitoring access points.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.
• Support emergency response efforts, including implementing evacuation or lockdown procedures when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using computers or tablets is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Prior experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
