As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
• Monitor the premises for suspicious activity or unauthorized access and report findings according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required for security-related matters.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of patrols, incidents, and actions taken during shifts.
• Adhere to all company and client protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.
• Participate in ongoing training related to security-related procedures, emergency response, and use of force as applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
