Job Description




As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols and providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve monitoring the property, responding promptly to situations, and delivering excellent customer service to everyone on site. This position is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a company vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay: $15.00 / hour

Security Experience - 6+ Months

What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security-related concerns or potential hazards.
  • Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions or concerns.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal.
  • Follow post orders and instructions specific to the commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
