Security Officer - Petrochemical Facility Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Facility Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will complete routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service through the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual occurrences.
• Monitor and observe activity within the location to help to deter and report potential security-related concerns, particularly in areas where chemicals and petrochemical materials are present.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive to the specific risks associated with chemical and petrochemical environments, following established guidelines for reporting and response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
