As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving position will involve interacting with the public, responding to various situations, and supporting a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement personnel and other stakeholders present at the location as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patrols, incidents, and activities during each shift.
• Assist in controlling access to designated areas, verifying identification, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted zones.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or requests for assistance at any time during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• A college degree is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections.
• A corrections officer license is required.
• Must possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate's degree or at least 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• A law enforcement officer license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
