As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, interact with staff, patients, and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service, all while supporting a welcoming and secure environment. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from restricted areas.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document incidents and complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
