Description

We are looking for a DevSecOps Program Manager with strong communication and critical thinking skills to aid our DevSecOps team meet program objectives and facilitate reliable delivery of the internal software platform, by overseeing various aspects of team capacity, team and organizational priorities, and administrative tasks.

Under the direction of the Principal DevSecOps Engineer, the DevSecOps Program Manager will be a critical liaison between the DevSecOps team and other internal teams, to help communicate priorities, status, and blockers in both directions.

Requirements
  • Coordinate task prioritization and distribution on the team, in cooperation with the Principal Engineer.
  • Maintain awareness of organizational projects and objectives, to help inform team prioritization.
  • Communicate with internal customers to address questions around team capacity, task status, and general capability of existing platform functionality.
  • Manage team members in areas such as ongoing education, time off requests, personal career goals, and performance reviews, in cooperation with the Principal Engineer.
  • Organize items in work tracking and documentation systems.
  • Schedule and run meetings such as team standups, team retrospectives, and incident post-mortems.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as payment card management, reimbursement requests, etc.
  • Adheres to and upholds all written policies and procedures of the Bank, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operation, and personnel policies.

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of DevSecOps or other relevant IT experience
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts and practices
  • Experience managing a technical team would be a major bonus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members and internal customers, at varying technical levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Ability to perform conflict resolution when necessary
  • Willingness to ask for and accept help when needed, as well as graciously provide help when asked and able
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
